Foul Ball Mom of the Day: From the looks of that baby’s headgear it seems that mom’s multitasking may not always yield the most favorable results.
Hey Daily What,
The reason for the helmet on the kid is craniosyntosis, which is where one or more sutures of the child’s cranium prematurely fuses. It has nothing to do with Mom’s extracurriculars.
Sincerely,
Emily Wilson, M.D.
Since I know Buzzfeed and SBnation sometimes read this blog, here’s a second — and learned — opinion on that first caption, from an M.D., no less.

I would LOVE it if I could get more followers at my other blog
all original content, all my work. spread the word.
So very true.
There is little doubt that pro cycling is one of the classiest sports on earth. Riders get paid, at least in part, based on how they finish each day. Today, they tossed the money aside and paid respect to their colleague and friend, Wouter Weylandt. His team, Leopard - Trek, along with his best friend Tyler Farrar (Garmin - Cervelo) crossed the line ahead of a neutralized peloton. I can think of no other sport where athletes do six hours of work only to pay respect to a friend.
Thank you for everything you’ve given us, Wouter. We’ll miss you. And thank you Leopard Trek, Tyler Farrar and all of cycling for a beautiful and moving tribute.
Rest in peace, Wouter.
I’m not ashamed to say I cried through this stage. I’ll miss cheering for you, Wouter.

Racehorse or not, just look at the guy. I’d go fast just injecting his sweat.
